(ĐN)- Dong Nai Polyclinic Hospital started to offer a weekend health checkup for local people on March 5. The hospital has seen a sharp increase in the number of outpatient visits in the weekend. Nearly 1,000 patients visited the hospital for receiving medical check-ups and treatment over the last weekend against 647 patients in the first weekend. Especially, the number of people with health insurance cards accounted for almost 70 per cent of total patient visits.
However, the hospital also witnessed a dramatic increase in the number of outpatient visits throughout the week, Dr. Phan Anh Huy Vu, Director of Dong Nai Polyclinic Hospital said. The daily number of visits to the hospital reached 2,500 to 2,800.
Dong Nai Polyclinic Hospital becomes the first provincial-level hospital in the country to offer a weekend health checkup.
