A ceremony to commemorate teachers held

(ĐN) – In the morning of Feb. 5, the third day of Tet, a solemn ceremony was held at Tran Bien Temple of Literature to commemorate and honor predecessors and devoted teachers.

Provincial leaders meet teachers

Attending the ceremony was Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Hong Phuong, Vice Chairman and Vice Chairwomen of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai and Huynh Thi Nga, Chairwoman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Huynh Chi Thang, Secretary of Bien Hoa city’s Party Committee Vy Van Vu, Chairman of Bien Hoa city People’s Committee Nguyen Phu Cuong, and representatives from departments, agencies, and a great number of teachers, students at all levels.

At the ceremony, the participants offered flowers and burnt incense to worship cultural well-known men and honor beloved teachers.

The ceremony is held annually to preserve and develop the tradition of “remembering the source when drinking water”.
