New Years Eve celebrations included musical performances, dragon dance, etc. Fifteen minutes of fireworks was also displayed at five other locations in Dong Nai province.

A live television link between localities across the province was launched by Dong Nai Radio and Television on the eve of the Lunar New Year Festival.

On this occasion, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Huynh Chi Thang, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot, Chairwoman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien and representatives of departments, branches and agencies of the province and Bien Hoa city burnt incense in memory of well-known men who were worshiped at Tran Bien Temple of Literature.
