Get-together for retired senior military officers and former provincial leaders

(ĐN)- The Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee on Thursday held a get-together for retired senior military officers and former provincial leaders on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the liberation of southern Vietnam and national reunification.

Minister of Public Security Le Hong Anh, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh and other provincial leaders attended the event.

Speaking at the gathering, Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh expressed the gratitude of local people to retired military officers and former provincial leaders who have made contributions to the national independence and freedom.

He said that the people and Party Committee in Dong Nai will continue promoting revolutionary traditions of their Vietnamese ancestors to achieve more successes in various areas, including economics and national security, as well as to making Dong Nai an industrial and modern province by 2015.
