(ĐN)- On April 21, Thong Nhat district’s Social Policy Bank provided loans totaling more than VND1.4 billion, with a monthly interest rate of 0.5 percent, to 330 poor students in Gia Tan 2 and Bau Ham 2 communes. These students are now studying at universities, colleges, intermediate vocational and job-training schools throughout the country.
So far this year, the district’s bank disbursed over VND40 bilion for more than 10,000 student loans.
