Various campaigns launched in response to Youth Month

(ĐN)- Over the past days, Dong Nai Youth Union and agencies at the grassroots level launched various activities to response to the Youth Month 2010. 

The province’s Youth Union awarded “MobiFone - For the future of Vietnam” scholarships worth VND1 million each to 23 high school and university students who actively participated in the student movement.

Dong Nai Police Department’s youth union started construction of a VND22 million compassionate house in Dai Phuoc commune, Nhon Trach district.

Dong Nai Teachers College’s youth union launched “Green Sunday” program, which saw almost 2,500 student to clean-up classrooms, dormitories.

Dong Nai Medial College rallied up to 500 of its students to join the blood donation day. The college in cooperation with Tan Tien ward’s youth union to clear roads.    

Xuan Loc district’s youth union focus on propagandizing environment protection, visited the families of some local war invalids and martyrs, mobilized donations from sponsors to build a charity house worth VND20 million.
