(ĐN)- The Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union in coordination with other relevant organisations on Saturday is organising a camping festival entitled “The strength of Dong Nai’s Youth” at the province’s Sport-Culture Complex to mark the 60th anniversary of Traditional day of Vietnamese students and pupils (09/01/1950 - 09/01/2010).
(ĐN)- The Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union in coordination with other relevant organisations on Saturday is organising a camping festival entitled “The strength of Dong Nai’s Youth” at the province’s Sport-Culture Complex to mark the 60th anniversary of Traditional day of Vietnamese students and pupils (09/01/1950 - 09/01/2010). During the camp, youth participants will visit the monument of martyr Tran Van On and the family of his relatives in Buu Hoa ward of Bien Hoa city. They will also participate in folk games and sports… On this occasion, the organising board will offer 5 scholarships worth VND 500,000 each to poor pupils in Tran Van On Primary School.
Also on the afternoon of Saturday, the camping participants will discuss topics related to Dong Nai’s youth in the new era and they will have a chance to review the events of war and bring back the memories of the fierce war years and struggle for independence and freedom. In the evening, there will be a ceremony to honor 60 outstanding students and pupils for their achievements in the ‘five good’ student campaign: studious, helpful, moral, healthy and cooperative.
