(ĐN)- The percentage of poor households in Long Khanh town has so far decreased by 38.8 percent after 664 households escaped poverty. However, there are still 1,044 poor households in the town, accounting for 3.17 per cent of the district’s total households.
The town will strive to reduce poor household rate (according to the new poverty standard) to below 2.6 by the end of 2010.
