Thong Nhat Hospital raises over VND1.2 bil for charities

(ĐN)- Over the past years, Thong Nhat Regional General Hospital has always paid much attention to charitable activities and taken part in the "Paying debt of gratitude" movement.

(ĐN)- Over the past years, Thong Nhat Regional General Hospital has always paid much attention to charitable activities and taken part in the "Paying debt of gratitude" movement. Particularly, the hospital cooperated with Children Action to perform free heart surgeries for children with special difficult situations, provide free eye surgery to poor cataract sufferers, take care of Vietnamese heroic mothers, etc.

In 2009, the hospital raised more than VND1.2 billion to provide free surgeries to handicapped children and medical check-ups for the poor.
