(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai provincial Farmers’ Association, in 2009, the farmers across the province contributed over VND7 billion and more than 16,000 working days to upgrade and build 300 km of rural roads and 50 charity houses, dredged 140 km of canals.

Besides, the association at all levels mobilized approximately VND3.4 billion from their members to help poor farmer households. Particularly, they supported nearly 50,000 seedlings and breeding animals, 20 tones of food for poor families.
