Dong Nai provincial Fatherland Front’s activities strengthened

(ĐN)- In the past time, Dong Nai provincial Fatherland Front Committee has been highly valued for its ceaseless efforts in promoting the strength of great national unity to fulfilling its political tasks, making significant contributions to building and protecting the country. The front also launched campaigns to appeal to local people to participate in patriotic emulation movements, contributing to the implementation of provincial socio-economic tasks, maintaining the political security and social safety and order.

Particularly, the “Day for the Poor” campaign has been organized effectively and raised around VND13 billion to build 760 charitable houses. On October, the front received more than VND4 billion from organizations and individuals to assist flood victims in the central region and central highlands. Besides, the front and its chapters at all levels mobilized local people to contribute almost VND400 mil and over 1,000 work days to building and repairing more than 60 km of rural traffic road, clean drains, schools and communal health stations.

The mobilization “the entire people unite to build the cultural life" launched by the front also got the encouraging results; 86 percent of villages and quarters in the province have been recognized as “cultural quarters” and 93 percent of households recognized as cultural families.

The movement “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral example” deployed by the front and its grassroots units has received positive respond from people. Many collectives and individuals across the province were honoured for their efforts in studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.
