(ĐN)- In the morning of Oct. 28, Dinh Quan district’s Study Promotion Association held its first emulation congress on study encouragement. The congress was attended by organizations and individuals who have made active contributions to the district’s study encouragement movements.
During eight years of establishment and development, Dinh Quan district’s Study Promotion Association has developed 14 branches with total members of more than 6,500. So far, the association raised over VND2 billion to present 8,000 scholarships, 625 bicycles, clothes and 600,000 notebooks to poor students.
At the congress, the association presented 18 bicycles to students living in difficult circumstances and honored 21 typical studious families. On this occasion, 33 individuals and collectives received campaign medals and certificates of merit of Vietnam Study Encouragement Association for their contributions to the district’s study promotion activities
