(ĐN)- On October 13, the Mass Mobilization Department of Nhon Trach district’s Party Committee held a meeting to mark the 79th anniversary of the Party’s Mass Mobilisation Day (October 15).
Over the past years, the district has carried out as many as 12 rural traffic works valued at VND 600 million. The district’s authorities have also paid special attention to social policy families and those who rendered great services to the nation. Accordingly, the district has built houses and presented gifts for the beneficiaries of social welfare.
On this occasion, 35 units and 44 individuals received certificates of merit for their contributions to promoting mass mobilisation work in the locality.
Last week, the Infantry Officers’ Training College No 2 handed over five gratitude and comrade houses to policy beneficiaries in the province. Each house was built at a cost of from VND 60 million to VND 80 million. Besides, the college contributed over 2,000 work days to upgrade rural roads, clear drains and harvest crops in the provincial districts. The college also presented 85 gifts worth nearly VND15 million to policy beneficiaries and provided free check-ups and medicines to 200 poor people.
On October 14, the Youth Union Association of Xuan Loc district held a ceremony to honor outstanding units and individuals. In addition, the Association offered 10 scholarships worth VND300,000 each and handed over a house for a poor family in Xuan Tho commune.
