(ĐN)- Thong Nhat district’s Social Policy Bank on Oct. 14 provided loans worth more than VND420 million with an interest rate of 0.17 percent for about 100 poor students in Gia Tan 1 commune who are studying at universities and colleges. The loans aim to help them cover their school fees and living costs.
From the beginning of this year until now, the bank has disbursed nearly VND2 billion for over 400 student loans.
