(ĐN)- On May 10, at Long Huong pagoda in Nhon Trach district’s Long Tan commune, a delegation from Ho Chi Minh City Entrepreneurs Club’s Department of Social Work and Mai Vang Charity Group provided free health check-ups and medicines to more than 400 poor people, disabled and Agent Orange victims in Long Tan, Phu Hoi, Phu Thanh communes.
On this occasion, the delegation also presented over 400 gifts worth VND100,000 each to beneficiaries. Each gift included sugar, instant noodle, cooking oil, and soya-sauce, etc. Total cost of the program was estimated at VND60 million, funded by enterprises, individuals and buddhist.
