(ĐN)- Recently, Thong Nhat district’s Red Cross Association cooperated with Dong Nai branch of Handicap International to launch two traffic accident emergency teams in Bau Ham 2 and Hung Loc communes.
(ĐN)- Recently, Thong Nhat district’s Red Cross Association cooperated with Dong Nai branch of Handicap International to launch two traffic accident emergency teams in Bau Ham 2 and Hung Loc communes. The volunteer emergency groups, with 15 members each, will propagandize and mobilize local people to participate in health care and traffic accident prevention programmes, provide first aid to traffic accident victims.
In the coming time, the Handicap International will support to establish more five volunteer emergency groups.
Thong Nhat currently has 26 traffic accident emergency posts along national highway routes. In 2008, the posts’ members gave first aid to 1,570 traffic accident victims and others.
