Seminar “How to manage and educate children not to commit a crime and social evil” held

(ĐN)- On October 2, at the Re-educational Centre No. 4 in Long Thanh district, the Vietnam Women’s Union in cooperation with Ministry of Public Security held a seminar entitled “Measures to manage and educate children not to commit a crime and social evil”.

(ĐN)- On October 2, at the Re-educational Centre No. 4 in Long Thanh district, the Vietnam Women’s Union in cooperation with Ministry of Public Security held a seminar entitled “Measures to manage and educate children not to commit a crime and social evil”. At the seminar, the parents as well as representatives of agencies, schools and localities exchanged experiences in the education of children. Accordingly, the cooperation between the family and school is very important and it is necessary in the area of the prevention of teenage crime.  

 

Besides, Deputy Director of the Re-educational Centre No.4 Nguyen Tho Hai stressed the role of the family in reducing teenage crime. The family plays an important role in shaping and developing every child’s personality, helping them overcome limitations or barriers that they may face; home is where protection and care originate.      

 

During the past 31 years, the Re-educational Centre has  educated 13,397 children, said Nguyen Tho Hai.
