(ĐN)- On June 27, Thong Nhat district’s Study Encouragement Association held a conference to honor 84 ‘fondness of learning’ families in the district.
So far, more than 2,500 households around the district signed up for the ‘fondness of learning’ programme.
During the past time, the association cooperated with related units to present 8 bicycles, VND10 million and over 100 scholarships to outstanding poor students.
The association targets to develop more than 5,000 ‘fondness of learning’ families by 2010
On this occasion, the provincial Study Encouragement Association awarded certificates of merit to 24 collectives and individuals for their contributions in study encouragement activities.
