Delegation of disabled veterans, martyrs’ families visits Ha Noi

Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong met yesterday in Ha Noi with a delegation from Dong Nai Province of disabled veterans, martyrs’ families and others who have contributed to the nation’s revolution.

The delegates told Trong of the effectiveness of implementation of social policies for invalids and martyrs’ families and people who have contributed to the revolution, as well as what the province has gained in the process of modernisation.

 

The province has built 2,300 houses and granted more than 2,000 savings books for them and other beneficiaries. Heroic Mothers and 13,000 children of the disabled were being paid proper care and provided assistance, they said.

 

Trong praised the provincial authorities for their efforts to take care of these social welfare beneficiaries and promised the government would continue helping them in their daily lives.

 

He also encouraged invalids, martyrs’ families and people who have contributed to the revolution to take part in the cause of modernisation, bringing their province and homeland to a wealthier future.
