State President presents gifts to 100 year-old elders in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- On the occasion of the Traditional Day for the Elderly of Viet Nam (June 6), State President presented gifts, including 5 metres of red silk, to 47 elders who are now 100 years old in the province.

(ĐN)- On the occasion of the Traditional Day for the Elderly of Viet Nam (June 6), State President presented gifts, including 5 metres of red silk, to 47 elders who are now 100 years old in the province. Presently, Dong Nai has 184 elders over 100 years of age; three of them are 110 years old, the oldest people in the province. On the occasion, the provincial People’s Committee congratulated them on their longevity and presented gifts worth VND200,000 to the elders.

 

In two days, June 6-7, the leaders of Dong Nai province and Bien Hoa city visited and offered gifts to 37 elderly people, those age 100 and older, in 26 wards and communes.

 

In addition, 10 elders in Dinh Quan district were congratulated and presented with gifts on the occasion of the Traditional Day for the Elderly.
