This is a charitable-social organization whose primary purpose is to assist Vietnamese Agent Orange victims and their families. Accordingly, the association will mobilise donations from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals in order to help the victims to overcome difficulties, stabilize their life, and create favourable conditions for them to integrate into community. The association will cooperate with the local press agencies to call for further assistance to the dioxin victims.
Mr Vo Minh Quang, former Director of Dong Nai Department of Labour, War Invalid and Social Affairs, was elected Chairman of the Association on March 29 at the first meeting of the Dong Nai Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims Association.
