Attending the forum were representatives of provincial agencies and about 130 children including street children and needy children.

The provincial Committee for Population, Family and Children recently held a children’s forum entitled “We need to share feelings” at Kim Dong school in Long Khanh Townlet, Dong Nai province. Attending the forum were representatives of provincial agencies and about 130 children including street children and needy children.The forum gave an opportunity for children to talk about their feelings, thoughts and expectations. After listening to children’s feelings and concerns, the leaders of the provincial Committee for Population, Family and Children has asked the province’s education and training sector to help underprivileged children go to school. They also said that the Committee will coordinate with the province Labour, War Invalid and Social Affairs Department to provide vocational training for children across the province when they need support. In 2007, the Committee will build 22 new houses for needy children and families in Dong Nai with money granted from the province’s Sponsor Fund for Children.
