Lafarge Vietnam donates 20 tonnes of cement to Ba Ria-Vung Tau province

(ĐN) – Recently, General Director of Lafarge Vietnam (DonaFrance) Marc Jarrault has come to the office of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau provincial Fatherland Front Committee to donate 20 tonnes of cement for helping to repair the damage caused by Typhoon Durian.

(ĐN) – Recently, General Director of Lafarge Vietnam (DonaFrance) Marc Jarrault has come to the office of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau provincial Fatherland Front Committee to donate 20 tonnes of cement for helping to repair the damage caused by Typhoon Durian. Besides, Lafarge will offer a 20 percent discount on cement for the customers in Vung Tau and Ba Ria. The discount will be applied in a week.

  

As known, Lafarge Cement Vietnam Company has just put into operation on July 2006 in Ong Keo Industrial Park (IP), Nhon Trach district with a total investment of US$ 30 million. In the past time, the company has actively participated in social and charitable activities in the province. Accordingly, it has donated US$10,000 and offered  10 charity houses to the poor in Nhon Trach district. Presently, Lafarge Vietnam is cooperating with the international association Habitat for Humanity Vietnam to implement a new housing project for low-income families in the province.
