(ĐN)- A talk entitled “War Zone D in the past and present” organized by the standing committee of provincial Youth Union on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the War Zone D took place at the meeting-hall in the provincial Police Department late last week.

The talk reviewed the 60 year history of the war zone D. Also at the talk, delegates reviewed the hard struggle and glorious victories of the Vietnamese army in the past two resistance wars in the war zone D.
Student Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Giang from Dong Nai Teacher’s College on behalf of the youth in the southeast region expressed how proud she was of the past generations who have achieved national liberation to secure national independence. She also said that the significance of the great victory has reminded the young people to respect the sacrifices of the previous generations. She added the young people of today would strive to overcome the difficulties and shoulder the task of developing the country.
On the occasion, the Central Youth Union awarded the Tuoi Tre Dung Cam (Brave Youth) badge to 10 youth union members from Dong Nai province for their bravery in pursuing robbers.
