The traditional event, the Dong Nai Newspaper Cup for children is organized in the summer season by the Dong Nai Newspaper, in cooperation with the Dong Nai Department of Sports and Physical Training and the provincial Department of Education and Training.

(ĐN)- The Dong Nai Newspaper Cup 2006 for children is opened at Dong Nai’s Sporting Hall on this morning of August 1. The traditional event, the Dong Nai Newspaper Cup for children is organized in the summer season by the Dong Nai Newspaper, in cooperation with the Dong Nai Department of Sports and Physical Training and the provincial Department of Education and Training. This year attracted 11 best teams from the provincial districts, Long Khanh townlet and Bien Hoa city. All the teams divided into 4 groups A, B, C and D. The qualifying round will run at the province’s sporting hall to select the top four teams for the final round. The football competition will close on August 8, 2006 . Organizers will award Cup, flags, medals and prize money for top three teams. Of which, overall winner 1st shall receive the championship team with gold medal and prize money of 6 million VND while 2nd with silver medal and an amount of 4 million VND and 3rd with bronze medal and 2 million VND. Besides, many other awards will be given for the most excellent footballer, excellent goalkeeper, excellent referee and player who scores the most goals over the duration of the competition.
