“Paying debts of gratitude” activities launched in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- Today morning July 27, representative delegations of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province and the local people visited and burnt incense for the war martyrs at Dong Nai province’s Martyrs’ Ceremony on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).

(ĐN)-  Today morning July 27, representative delegations of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province and the local people visited and burnt incense for the war martyrs at Dong Nai province’s Martyrs’ Ceremony on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).

 

Previously, leaders of the provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee had granted 20 gratitude houses to families of policy beneficiaries in Long An province, each house worth VND 20 million. Besides, the leaders had visited and presented gifts to the wounded and sick soldiers being treated at a Health Care Center in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province and the war invalids who are learning at the HCM City-based Thu Duc Technical Vocational School.

 

On this occasion, 15,000 gifts have been offered to policy families in the province.  Each gift includes VND 250,000 in cash.   

 

* The leaders of Dong Tien Garment Company (Dovitec) in Bien Hoa city has visited and presented gifts worth VND 700,000 each to 5 Vietnamese heroic mothers living in Nhon Trach district. Those mothers are being looked after and fostered for the rest time of life by the company.

 

* Vinh Cuu district’s Army Command Post in cooperation with Vinh Tan commune’s authorities has organized to hand over a charity house to the family of Mr Duong Ngoc Phoi, a former officer of the unit. The cost for building this house were VND 45 million. Of which, “Fund for the poor”  of Military Zone 7 and  Ministry of Defence donated VND 20 million, the rest was covered by the family. On this occasion, Vinh Cuu district has organized a tour for 100 war invalids, sick soldiers and policy families to go to Can Gio Tourist Area on vacation. The tour costs over VND 22 million
