The Cargill Vietnam Company funded about VND 400 million for construction of the new school. The three-room school building offers facilities for 120 kids between the ages of 4 and 6. Nhon Trach district’s new school is the 15th project of the Cargill Cares programme aimed at building schools in remote areas nationwide.
To mark the International Children’s Day (June 1), the Bien Hoa Confectionary Corporation (Bibica) donated about 6,000 gifts worth VND 50 million to be given to poor, needy, orphan and disabled children. Gifts include candy, truffles and chocolates … About 5,000 gifts will be given to children from the open house and the disabled school who attend “Childrens world” performance on June 1 at Le Van Tam Park in Ho Minh City while the rest of gifts for the poor and disabled children in Dong Nai province.
On the occasion of International Children’s Day June 1, Trade Union of Long Thanh Super Phosphate Factory has just presented gifts to children who are children of the factory’s employees. Accordingly, 214 gifts, worth VND100,000 each, have been presented by the factory. Besides, about 90 children, who were outstanding students in the past school year and attained high results at the provincial excellent student contest, were given more gifts worth VND200,000 each.
