(ĐN) – British American Tobacco (BAT)- Vinataba Joint Venture Ltd has just launched “Green Sunday” campaign, part of its community-oriented campaign involving more than 50 employees from BAT. Accordingly, the delegation of BAT led by General Director Raymond Ung paid floral tributes to fallen combatants at Dong Nai martyrs’ cemetery. In addition, BAT’s staff cleared grass in the martyrs’ cemetery and presented 10 stone benches, 100 flower baskets and 4 ornamental flower pots to this place.
“BAT’s community-oriented activities involving its employees aim to express their gratitude for those who rendered great services to the nation. Besides, these activities help create a healthy company culture and foster a close relationship between employees and the Company” said Raymond Ung.
BAT has held its second community-oriented campaign in March. On the occasion of Women’s Day (8 March), representatives from BAT visited and granted a VND2 million savings book to the Vietnamese heroic mother Nguyen Thi Ngon, 84 years old, who lives in Bien Hoa city’s Tan Tien ward.
