(ĐN)- In the afternoon of August 18, Desjoyaux Agent Joint Stock Company, French designer and supplier of inground and above ground swimming pools, donated two swimming pools worth 1 billion VND and garden amounting to 200 million VND to the Rehabilitation Center for Disable Children in Dong Nai. The swimming pool with a size of 4m x 10m each was installed with absolutely waterproofed PVC liner and 2 automatic filters. Desjoyaux creates interesting recreation for the disable children who will enjoy very much. Thanks to these swimming pools, the disable children will be trained how to swim. In addition, talents will be discovered and further trained to become swimming athletes in the future.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial Peoples’ Committee Huynh Van Toi took this opportunity to express sincere thankfulness for the donation of Desjoyaux Company. He also expected more assistance and supports from individuals, units at all levels of the community providing for disable children. This would enable them to enjoy their life and studying as well as promote their abilities. It would make them more confident to integrate into the community and become useful individuals for society.
The Center would engage a swimming coach who instructed basic swimming technique for disable children three times a week, said Director of Center Le Thi Hieu.

After waterproofing the pool with a reinforced PVC liner, the Desjoyaux filtration system is surface mounted on the existing construction and takes over from the old filtration system. This means that a pool can be renovated without adversely affecting the existing finish, surround and vegetation.
This technique is much in demand, in particular for local community pools, because it is low cost and easily implemented. The same advantages apply for private pools.
