Two teams representing Lac Hong University, LH-FOF and LH-IDS, advanced to the final round. After progressing through intense rounds, LH-FOF defeated opponents in both the quarterfinals and semifinals to secure a place in the final match. Meanwhile, LH-IDS ended its campaign in the semifinals.

Entering the final, LH-FOF faced a strong contender, SKH-AST from Hung Yen University of Technology and Education.

The championship match delivered a dramatic showdown worthy of the competition’s two best teams. However, thanks to flexible robot architecture and optimized technological solutions, LH-FOF convincingly defeated SKH AST to capture the championship title. The victory also earned the team the right to represent Vietnam at the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2026 (ABU Robocon 2026), scheduled to take place in Hong Kong (China) this August, organized by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU).

Meanwhile, Lac Hong University’s other representative, LH-IDS, received both the Technology Award and the Fair Play Award from the organizers.

This achievement allows Lac Hong University to extend its own record with an unprecedented 11 championship titles in the tournament’s 22-year history. To date, beyond its domestic dominance, the university has also won three ABU Robocon championships.
