Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Tien Manh, Principal of Sonadezi College of Technology and Management, emphasized that in the era of the knowledge-based economy, innovation is no longer an option but a key driver of sustainable development. Recognizing the need for a space to nurture creative ideas, the college established the Sonadezi College Innovation and Robotics Center not only as a creative workspace but also as an innovation ecosystem, connecting innovators, technology experts, and startups, while providing a conducive environment for students at all levels to develop creative competencies.
Following its opening ceremony, the Sonadezi College Innovation and Robotics Center will focus on key activities such as organizing hands-on technology experiences, offering specialized training in innovation, programming, and artificial intelligence, hosting robotics, STEM, and AI innovation competitions, and supporting the implementation of STEM and robotics programs in schools and local communities.
Speaking at the event, Vo Hoang Khai, Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Science and Technology, highlighted that the establishment of the Sonadezi College Innovation and Robotics Center by Sonadezi College of Technology and Management aligns with Dong Nai’s development orientation toward high-tech industry, digital economy, and an innovation ecosystem. The center is expected to serve not only as a hub for learning and research but also as a platform for connecting ideas, nurturing creativity, and fostering an innovation-driven mindset among students.
In the near future, the Department of Science and Technology will continue to support the college in research, innovation, technology transfer, and the development of science and technology human resources.
