PowerTech team wins first prize at 2026 Web AI Hackathon

On April 28, at FPT Polytechnic College – Dong Nai Campus (Tran Bien Ward), the Provincial Youth Union, the Department of Science and Technology, and FPT Polytechnic jointly organized the final round of the 2026 Web AI Hackathon.

From the 32 teams participating in the qualifying round, the Organizing Committee selected 11 outstanding teams from universities and colleges within and outside the province to compete in the final round. In the final round, the teams drew lots to determine their topics. Using the topic they drew, each team had two hours to code live and present a trial version of its product to the judging panel. Based on the teams' presentations, the judging panel offered feedback to help them further improve their products in the coming time.

The products programmed by the teams mainly focused on systems for: internal training management; personnel and vehicle entry/exit management; timekeeping and shift management; digital human resource management; leave request and approval process management; order management and supplier evaluation, among others.

After a one-day final round featuring two components, live programming and the presentation of trial products before the judging panel, the Organizing Committee held the closing ceremony to award the competition prizes on the afternoon of April 28. Accordingly, the PowerTech team from FPT Polytechnic College – Dong Nai Campus excellently won first prize; the PentaPrime team from FPT Polytechnic College – Dong Nai Campus won second prize; and the AquaFlow team from Lac Hong University won third prize. In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded three consolation prizes and five promising prizes to the remaining teams.
