On August 28, the Dong Nai City Party Committee (CPC), People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee held a ceremony at the city's Martyrs' Cemetery in Long Binh ward to pay tribute to martyrs on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day.

The ceremony was chaired by Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the CPC. Also in attendance were members of the CPC’s Standing Board, including Dang Minh Nguyet, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Council; Nguyen Kim Long, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; Senior Colonel Vo Thanh Danh, Commander of the Dong Nai City Military Command; Major General Nguyen Duc Hai, Director of the Dong Nai City Public Security Department; and Ho Van Nam, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Tran Bien ward. Also attending were members of the CPC's Executive Board, representatives of the city's armed forces, and officials from agencies, units, communes and wards.
In a solemn atmosphere, leaders of the Dong Nai CPC, People's Council, People's Committee and VFF Committee, together with representatives of the armed forces and other delegates, observed a minute of silence in remembrance of President Ho Chi Minh’s immense contributions and martyrs’ sacrifices for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
