In a solemn atmosphere, delegates offered incense and flowers and observed a minute of silence in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, who devoted his entire life to the struggle for national independence, freedom and people's happiness. They also paid their respects to the fallen heroes who devoted their youth to the cause of national liberation and reunification, and to the national construction and defense.

At the ceremony, delegates recalled the glorious fighting tradition of Binh Long's army and people during the resistance wars for national liberation, while sharing stories and memories of the difficult years of fighting in Binh Long. Stories shared by former soldiers and women who participated in the resistance brought to life the memories of a generation that endured hardship while remaining steadfast and unyielding. They also underscored that today's peace, independence and freedom were made possible by the sacrifices of generations before them.
