Tran Thi Thu Trang, Deputy Director in charge of the Dong Nai Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center: Opportunities for breakthroughs in investment, trade and tourism promotion
With the advantage of increasingly synchronized transport infrastructure, especially Long Thanh International Airport, I believe Dong Nai City will enjoy favorable conditions to strengthen connectivity with domestic and international economic hubs, opening a new phase of development with breakthrough opportunities in investment, trade and tourism promotion. This will contribute to economic growth, improved competitiveness and stronger promotion of Dong Nai’s image.
In the coming time, the center will focus on investment and trade promotion activities while intensifying efforts to introduce Dong Nai’s potential, strengths and tourism resources through domestic and international promotional programs. The aim is to attract high-tech projects, supporting industries, logistics, green industries and high-quality service sectors. We will also support local enterprises in expanding trade connections and market access, both domestically and internationally, especially for One Commune, One Product (OCOP) goods and local agricultural products.

The establishment of Dong Nai City not only creates opportunities for breakthroughs in economic and infrastructure development but also marks an important moment for the culinary sector to elevate its value and enhance the promotion of local cuisine through specialty dishes to attract tourists to Dong Nai.
Dong Nai is a land where cultures from many regions converge, so Dong Nai cuisine is diverse, rich and has its own unique characteristics. In the coming time, the Chefs Association will further strengthen its participation in promoting and performing delicious dishes and local specialties at domestic and international culinary events and festivals.
In addition to culinary promotion activities, the Chefs Association is building and is expected to complete the Dong Nai culinary map by August 2026 with hundreds of delicious dishes from all localities in the city...

Nearly one month after Dong Nai officially became Vietnam’s seventh city, people in Phuoc An are extremely excited. Everywhere, residents are enthusiastically discussing the city’s future, expressing pride and high expectations for local development in this new phase.
We are ready to unite with the authorities to build a more civilized, modern and livable city. We hope that throughout the development process, the city will continue paying attention to social welfare, environmental protection and improvements in healthcare and education services so that residents can sustainably benefit from development achievements.
Artist Than The Thoi, Dance Division of the Dong Nai Literature and Arts Association: Promoting the image of Dong Nai and its people

The fact that Dong Nai has become one of Vietnam’s seven cities is a great joy for the Party Committee, authorities and people, including artists and writers. A modern city requires not only economic and infrastructure development but also a rich and humane cultural life.
I hope that in the future the city will pay greater attention to creative art spaces, invest more in performance activities and nurture young talents so that culture and the arts truly become the spiritual foundation of urban development.
As Dong Nai’s status changes, the city’s Literature and Arts Association will also be restructured to operate as a federation of specialized associations. This is also the right time for the arts sector to transform and keep pace with the image of a modern city. Through fieldwork, major cultural and artistic programs and other activities, artists will gain fresh inspiration to continue creating works that help promote Dong Nai and its people to domestic and international audiences.
Tran Thi Kieu Tien, worker at Long Thanh Industrial Park: Expanding job opportunities and helping workers settle down

I am very happy that Dong Nai has become a city. My greatest hope is that there will be more stable jobs so workers can feel secure and stay committed to the locality over the long term. I hope the city will develop more social housing projects and build more schools near industrial parks to make life more convenient for workers with children. Parks, playgrounds and sports facilities are also very necessary so workers and their children can relax after working hours.
Workers do not expect anything too extraordinary — only stable employment, less hardship and better educational opportunities for their children. I believe that with proper development orientation, Dong Nai will become a modern, civilized and highly livable city for all working people.
Vo Thanh Son, resident of Bau Ham Commune: Paying attention to modern agricultural development

Dong Nai City is developing strongly in terms of industry and urban infrastructure, with roads becoming increasingly modern and spacious. During this development process, it is encouraging that Dong Nai continues to preserve agricultural land and support sustainable farming. What is especially positive is that the city’s development planning still prioritizes high-tech agriculture, clean farming and environmental protection.
This is a direction strongly supported by farmers because agriculture can no longer rely on traditional methods alone. Scientific and technological applications are needed to improve product quality, reduce costs and increase income. Residents hope that as Dong Nai develops further, more enterprises will invest in agricultural processing, brand building and market expansion for local produce. Stable market demand and higher agricultural product values will give farmers confidence to remain attached to their land and orchards.
