Master Tran Hanh, Head of the Faculty of Medicine - Pharmacy - Basic Sciences, Dong Nai Medical College:
Recognizing personal responsibility in contributing to the city’s development

Becoming a citizen of Dong Nai city is a joy, a source of pride, and also a motivation for every Dong Nai resident, including myself, to uphold a sense of responsibility in joining hands to build an increasingly developed city.
The fact that Dong Nai becomes a city is expected to open up opportunities for the locality to make strong breakthroughs in various fields; build a civilized, modern urban area to become a development center for the region; and gradually improve the lives of the people. To achieve this expectation, I believe that the immediate task that the city leaders need to focus on is upgrading synchronous transport infrastructure, especially key routes, to improve connectivity between areas, promote socio-economic development; change the urban appearance and especially reduce traffic congestion during peak hours, creating favorable conditions for people to travel... In addition, the living environment also needs to be improved, bringing more jobs and development opportunities for the people.
As a citizen living and working in Dong Nai city, I fully recognize my responsibility in contributing to the city's development. In my role as a lecturer, I will continue to do a good job of teaching, contributing to creating high-quality human resources to meet the increasingly high development requirements of the city. I believe that with the determination of the Party Committee, the government, and the active participation of people from all social strata, Dong Nai will increasingly develop, becoming a dynamic, modern, and livable city.
Le Thi Thu Tam, Party Cell Secretary and Head of the Front Work Committee of Tan Lai Quarter, Tran Bien Ward:
Mobilizing people from all social strata to join hands in building the city

As a resident who has lived in Dong Nai for more than half a century, I feel joyful and proud to witness firsthand the remarkable transformation of the land where I live. After many years of effort by the entire political system and local residents, Dong Nai has now become the country’s seventh city.
Alongside this joy and excitement, I hold high expectations that Dong Nai City will achieve many breakthroughs in socio-economic development in the future, enabling people to enjoy increasingly prosperous and happy lives.
In addition to the guidelines and policies of the Party and State, I believe that for Dong Nai to develop, mobilizing people from all social strata to join hands in building the city is very important. Because each citizen is not only a beneficiary of development achievements but also a direct participant in building a civilized, modern urban area. With consensus, people will actively participate in implementing the guidelines and policies of the Party and State; obey the law; maintain environmental hygiene; build a cultural and civilized lifestyle... creating collective strength to promote socio-economic development, contributing to making Dong Nai increasingly prosperous, civilized, and sustainable in the future.
Trinh Van Thinh, Principal of Ngo Si Lien High School in Trand Bom Ward:
Education must develop in line with the city’s stature

With Dong Nai becoming a city, we expect education to enter a new stage of development with a strategic, modern vision capable of leading the Southeast region. As an educational administrator, I hope the city’s transformation will not only be reflected in urban infrastructure or economic growth, but also in the quality of human resources and intellectual standards.
What teachers like us most hope for is an advanced, humane, and liberal education system where each school becomes a center of innovation, every teacher serves as an inspiration, and every student can fully develop their potential. Education in Dong Nai needs to boldly pursue digital transformation, apply artificial intelligence, innovate school governance, and improve educational quality in line with national and international standards.
We also hope the city will introduce appropriate policies to improve teachers’ living conditions, professional status, and working environment, because teachers are the foundation of every educational reform. A sustainably developed city must begin with high-quality classrooms and citizens who possess knowledge, courage, responsibility, and aspirations to contribute. This is not only the professional aspiration of educators but also the belief of those directly nurturing the future generation for a growing Dong Nai City.
Dao Trung Kien, specialist at the Culture and Society Division of Phu Lam Commune:
Supporting localities in attracting investment

In its socio-economic development orientation, Phu Lam Commune, Dong Nai City places special emphasis on commerce and services, combined with restructuring high-value agricultural crops and developing eco-tourism through attractions such as Da Ton Lake, Hung Kings’ Temple, and Hoa Binh Waterfall - Linh Phu Pagoda scenic complex.
Alongside these key projects serving as highlights, to create broad space for the policy of eco-tourism development, as well as general socio-economic development, Phu Lam commune also implements investment projects in agriculture, focusing on building specialized areas for fruit trees and high-economic-value industries linked to craft villages.
With advantages in natural landscapes, and transportation infrastructure, Phu Lam authorities are inviting investors to cooperate by providing the best possible conditions within their capacity to unlock the locality’s existing potential. The commune aspires to grow alongside Dong Nai City, which is gaining strong momentum in industry, commerce, and services.
Phu Lam Commune also hopes to receive greater support from higher-level authorities in accelerating investment in strategic transport routes passing through the locality, promoting the commune’s image, and connecting it with the city’s tourism destinations. Local residents and communities are encouraged to jointly promote the image of the land and people of Phu Lam Commune by maintaining clean, green, and beautiful residential areas and rural roads so as to attract investors and tourists from now onward.
