Architect KHUONG VAN MUOI, former Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Architects:
Opportunities for strategic breakthrough, acceleration, and takeoff
![]() |
As a citizen of Dong Nai, although I am living in Ho Chi Minh City, I always follow every step of my homeland with great pride and expectations. Dong Nai becoming a centrally governed city is an opportunity for the locality to make a strategic breakthrough, accelerate, and take off after decades of accumulating internal strength.
Dong Nai possesses advantages few localities can match, including its role as a key transport gateway, Long Thanh International Airport, expressways, and seaports. When the apparatus operates under a centrally governed city model, it will create strong attractiveness, boost economic growth, generate millions of jobs, and improve people’s quality of life. This is the time to turn political determination into concrete actions and effectively realize development goals.
NGUYEN THI BACH MAI, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Women Intellectuals Association:
Strategies are needed for the logistics industry to become a driving force of development

Having been associated with Dong Nai for nearly 50 years, I realize that this is a land rich in energy and vitality. With its central position in a diverse transportation infrastructure system including roads, railways, waterways, and aviation, along with a well-developed network of industrial parks..., Dong Nai has an important foundation to promote the development of a modern urban area. This requires breakthrough strategies for the logistics industry to truly become a driving force for the economy.
Besides economic development, Dong Nai needs to pay special attention to the human factor. Building standards, regulations, as well as promoting cultural exchange within the community and mass organizations are very necessary, aiming for a civilized society, a modern urban lifestyle, and at the same time preserving the good traditional values of the locality.
PHAN THE CONG, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Youth Federation:
Hoping for more specific mechanisms and policies for comprehensive development

Dong Nai’s upcoming status as a centrally governed city is not only a great opportunity but also a motivation for the young generation of Dong Nai to constantly strive, train, and affirm their role in building their homeland.
In the new context, Dong Nai's youth and children hope for more specific mechanisms and policies to create conditions for comprehensive development. In addition, investment in cultural institutions for youth and children also needs to be given due attention to. Projects such as youth cultural houses and children's houses of appropriate scale will create useful spaces for activities, learning, and entertainment, contributing to the comprehensive development of the young generation, meeting the requirements of a modern urban area in the future.
As an organization for young people, the Provincial Youth Union has been and is actively proposing many practical programs and projects related to youth work, and at the same time coordinating the effective implementation of current policies. The focus is on supporting startups, promoting digital transformation, creating a healthy learning, working, and creative environment, helping young people maximize their capabilities and contribute positively to society.
Director of Dong Nai Provincial Center for Inclusive Education Development Support LE THI NAM NHAN:
Expanding opportunities for hearing-impaired and visually impaired students to study and develop skills

We place great trust and hope for positive changes in the field of education, especially inclusive education, when Dong Nai becomes a centrally governed city. Because when Dong Nai develops, investment resources for social welfare and education will receive more attention, thereby opening up more opportunities for children with special circumstances.
Currently, the Dong Nai Provincial Center for Inclusive Education Development Support still lacks a proper library to serve the learning needs and access to knowledge for hearing-impaired and visually impaired students. We hope that in the new urban development orientation, the province will focus on investing in building friendly learning spaces and beneficial playgrounds. In addition, there should be more financial support to create conditions for these children to develop skills, confidently integrate into the community, and contribute to building a humane society where no one is left behind.
NGUYEN PHUONG HOANG DUY, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Youth Union of Tan Phu Commune:
Hoping remote communes “will not be left behind"

Becoming a centrally governed city will create conditions for Dong Nai to maximize its potential and existing advantages, attract investment, and improve the quality of economic growth.
In the process of developing towards a modern urban area, I hope that remote communes will not be "left behind", and people in rural areas should have full access to essential services equivalent to those in central areas. At the same time, it is necessary to develop industrial parks, services, and economic models suitable for local conditions to create local jobs for people, especially young people. In addition, there’s a need to promote synchronous infrastructure investment, with priority given to remote areas; improve the quality of human resources; ensure social welfare and equity in development; strengthen environmental protection... The urbanization process also needs to be associated with preserving the cultural identity of villages, maintaining community spirit, and ensuring a clean living environment.
Artist NGUYEN HUYEN QUY, member of the Dong Nai Literature and Arts Association:
Specific mechanisms are expected to support and create conditions for artists and writers to create and promote their works
![]() |
Facing great opportunities, as a young artist, I expect a strong breakthrough for Dong Nai not only in its urban appearance but also in the depth of its cultural and artistic life. For young artists to truly become the creative "core", we earnestly hope for specific mechanisms that create conditions for artists and writers to participate extensively in regional and national competitions, festivals, and exhibitions. Expanding exchange programs, out-of-province study sessions, and in-depth training courses directly guided by leading experts are important "keys" for us to improve our creative skills and keep up with contemporary art trends.
I hope that when it becomes a city, Dong Nai will pay more attention to mechanisms that support the creative work of artists and writers, ranging from commissioning works, providing financial support, to creating outlets through publishing, performing, and promoting on modern media platforms. This is not only material support but also valuable recognition and spiritual encouragement, helping young artists feel secure in their commitment, develop their creativity, and fulfill their social responsibility.
