Ton Ngoc Hanh re-elected Chairwoman of 11th Dong Nai People’s Council for 2026–2031 term

Continuing the agenda of the first session of the 11th Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council for the 2026–2031 term, after hearing personnel proposals, the Council proceeded to elect the Chairperson and Vice Chairpersons of the Provincial People’s Council.

As a result, Ton Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the 10th Provincial People’s Council, was re-elected as Chairwoman of the 11th Provincial People’s Council with absolute approval, winning 100% of the votes in favor from delegates in attendance. The Provincial People’s Council subsequently adopted a resolution confirming the election of its Chairperson for the 2026–2031 term.

With unanimous support, Tran Van Mi, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the 10th Provincial People’s Council, along with Dang Minh Nguyet, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People’s Council of Long Khanh ward, were elected as Vice Chairpersons of the 11th Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council. The Council then passed a resolution confirming the election results for the vice chairpersons.

As part of the session, in order to complete the organizational apparatus, the Provincial People’s Council reviewed and approved the establishment of its Ethnic Affairs Board, along with a resolution on the matter. It also elected Heads of the Council’s boards and adopted resolutions confirming the election results.

Following this, the Standing Committee of the 11th Provincial People’s Council will convene its first meeting to decide on the number and approve the list of deputy heads and members of the council’s boards as proposed by their heads.

The Standing Committee and boards of the 11th Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council for the 2026–2031 term will be officially introduced to the council, marking the completion of the organizational apparatus in preparation for carrying out their duties in the new term.
