As part of their working visit to China from March 22 to 26, a delegation from Dong Nai province paid a visit and held talks with China Railway 16th Bureau Group on the morning of March 23.
The working delegation included Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee (PPC) and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Ut; Deputy Secretary of the PPC Vo Tan Duc; along with members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, and leaders of provincial departments, sectors and localities.

The delegation was received by Tran Hong Minh, Party Secretary of the Overseas Business Division, together with the group’s leaders and key officials.
During the meeting, both sides focused on discussing potential cooperation in transport infrastructure development. In particular, they highlighted prospects for enhancing connectivity and efficient operation between the Suoi Tien – Long Thanh metro project and the Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien metro line, thereby strengthening regional linkages and promoting socio-economic development.
The delegation also visited the group’s exhibition hall to learn more about its development history and key projects, especially in urban railway and high-speed rail infrastructure.
Later the same day, the Dong Nai working delegation visited and worked with China Hyway Group Limited.
The delegation was received by Huynh Hai, Deputy General Director and Chief Engineer of the group, along with its staff. China Hyway is a multi-sector corporation operating in areas such as logistics infrastructure contracting, minerals, energy and integrated agriculture. It is among China’s leading private enterprises with experience in railway survey, design and construction both domestically and internationally.

Speaking at the meetings, Deputy Secretary of the PPC and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Ut expressed his impression of the scale, technological capacity and experience of both groups in implementing large-scale infrastructure projects.
He affirmed that Dong Nai is committed to accompanying investors, listening to their concerns and addressing difficulties in line with the “service-oriented administration” approach. The province will continue to apply incentive policies on taxation and land in accordance with regulations in a flexible and effective manner, while accelerating administrative reforms to ensure a transparent, open and law-abiding investment environment.
The visit marks an important step toward expanding cooperation for both sides to enhance mutual understanding and open up new avenues for cooperation, particularly in modern transport infrastructure development, contributing to the sustainable growth of Dong Nai province and the wider region.
