Accelerating production, maintaining jobs for laborers

After the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, production activity in Dong Nai quickly regained momentum. Across industrial parks, factories, and enterprises, the lively hum of machinery could be heard from the very first days of the new year, reflecting the business community’s resolve to pick up speed. Workers also have returned with an upbeat mindset, confident that the new year will bring more opportunities and stronger prospects.

The year 2025 ended with no shortage of challenges for businesses, including volatile export markets, rising raw material costs, and intensifying competitive pressure. Even so, through proactive adaptation, management innovation, and market expansion, many businesses in the area sustained steady growth momentum. These results provide an essential foundation for 2026, enabling businesses to move ahead with plans to expand production, invest in additional machinery and technology, and recruit more labor.

Many businesses have received new orders from the beginning of the year, especially in the textile, footwear, electronics, and wood processing sectors. To meet production schedules, businesses proactively recruit more workers, organize skill-enhancement training, and improve processes to increase productivity. Expanding production not only aims to increase revenue but also demonstrates the determination to overcome difficulties and affirm their position in both domestic and international markets.

Alongside the development strategy, improving workers’ lives remains a special focus for businesses. On the first day back at work after Tet, many workers received lucky money, New Year greetings, and gifts from businesses and trade unions. While modest in material value, these gestures carry deep spiritual meaning, reflecting appreciation and a strong bond between businesses and workers. The warm, friendly early spring atmosphere has provided extra motivation for workers to begin the year’s work enthusiastically.

As the economy continues to face many unpredictable factors, businesses have identified ensuring stable jobs and income for workers as a key task. Workers are the direct force that creates value and determines product quality and the business's reputation. Many businesses continue to maintain welfare policies such as productivity bonuses, accommodation support, meal support, and comprehensive social insurance and health insurance for workers. Some units are also improving the working environment by investing in green, clean, and safe workshops to enhance workers’ quality of life. For workers, this practical support from businesses helps them feel secure and committed for the long term. When jobs are assured and income remains steady, workers can stabilize their lives, care for their families, and fully dedicate themselves to their work.

In practice, when businesses are determined to invest and expand production, and workers strive to improve their skills and sense of responsibility, labor relations become increasingly harmonious and stable. From this shared commitment, Dong Nai can expect a year of more substantial progress in production, business, and employment, further reinforcing its position as one of the country’s leading industrial bright spots.
