(ĐN)- A Taiwanese delegation led by Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs Lin Sheng-chung paid a working visit to Dong Nai on Nov 17. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Minh Phuc.
At the working session, Vice Chairman briefed the delegation about Dong Nai province’s socio-economic development and foreign investment attraction over the past time.
According to Vice Chairman, around 969 foreign-invested businesses from 34 countries and territories have invested more than US$16 billion in the province until the end of October. Taiwan takes the lead among investors in Dong Nai with 298 projects valued at US$4.2 billion.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Lin Sheng-chung thanked the province’s leaders for their warm welcome. He also hoped that the leaders will continue to create favourable conditions for Taiwanese businesses to operate effectively in the province.
