(ĐN)- Vice Chairman of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai has recently presided over a meeting on the province’s technical infrastructure development project in 2011-2015 period.
A total budget of more than VND28.2 trillion will be needed for technical infrastructure development in the period of 2011-2015, said Director of Department of Planning and Investment Bo Ngoc Thu. Of the total, over VND20,5 trillion will go to the transport sector, nearly VND4.2 trillion for water supply system, more than VND3.5 trillion for drainage system and wastewater treatment projects.
The budget will be mobilized from different sources, of which more than VND8.5 trillion comes from the provincial budget, VND4 trillion from the local budgets, over VND7.1 trillion from enterprises, and VND6.35 trillion from ODA capital.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai said that technical infrastructure development project in 2011-2015 period is an important mission of the province aiming to improve transport infrastructure, especially roads connecting to urban areas, industrial zones and highways, and develop rural infrastructure for agricultural development. He also asked departments and agencies to make efforts to call for investment for the project.
