(ĐN)- Bien Hoa city-based Xuan Hoa Charity Clinic reported that the clinic treated approximately 30-50 patients a day during its first week of operation. The clinic provided free medical check-ups and medicines for poor patients with a total cost of about VND 10 million during the first week.
The clinic was inaugurated in Bien Hoa city’s Tan Hoa ward on March 16 by the Xuan Loc Diocesan Charity Committee on social and charitable activities. The Committee funded treatment for two poor people who suffered from severe disease at Ho Chi Minh city based hospitals.
The clinic provides free medical care to disabled people, single elderly people and the poor. In addtion, it also offers medical consultation, medical care and support services for people living with HIV and AIDS, drug addicts, online gaming addicts and smoking addicts in the province. It operates four days per week.
