After four years of implementing Program 134, 4,811 poor ethnic minority households across the province received houses and production land worth a total of more than VND79 billion.
On this period, the 135 program has invested 84 billion to help ethnic households develop their production, raise income, improve their material and spiritual life, contributing to reduce the number of poor households in the locality. Particularly, thousands of other ethnic minorities have been provided with seeds, breeding animals, fertilizer, machines for production.
Addressing at the conference, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee asked related agencies continue their efforts to assist poor ethic minority people with production land, houses and clean water, invest in construction projects on infrastructure to help ethnic minorities develop production.
On this occasion, the provincial People’s Committee awarded certificates of merit to 22 collectives and 54 individuals for their outstanding achievements
