At the meeting with the provincial leader, the Thai diplomat said that his visit aimed to boost cooperation and strengthen bilateral ties between Thailand and Dong Nai. He also expressed his wish to know more about Dong Nai’s socio-economic conditions and investment opportunites in the province to promote further the development of bilateral relations between Thailand and Dong Nai in particular and Vietnam in general.
Vice Chairman Tran Minh Phuc said that Thailand ranks 14th among 35 foreign investors in Dong Nai. Recent years have witnessed a rapid development of Dong Nai-Thailand relations with frequent exchanges and fruitful achievements in cooperation in various fields, especially in commercial field, Phuc added.
The provincial leader also vowed that the province is willing to provide information to the Thai diplomat to promote the positive image of Dong Nai among Thai businesses and increase cooperation between the two sides.
