Dong Nai’s four business women honored with Golden Rose Cup

Ms.Hong, Chairwoman and General Director of Dofico, receives Golden Rose Cup 2010.

The annual event is co-organised by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and Vietnam Women’s Union to honour women entrepreneurs with outstanding achievements in production and business, great contributions to socio-economic development, and efforts to improve workers’ living standards.

This award was presented four business women in Dong Nai, including Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Hong, Chairwoman and General Director of Dong Nai Food Industry Corporation (Dofico), Ms. Do Thi Thu Hang, Chairwoman and General Director of Sonadezi Corporation, Ms. Nguyen Thi Gai, General Director of Dong Nai Rubber Corporation (Donaruco), and Ms. Quach Kim Anh, Chairwomen of Hoa Viet J.S Co. Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Hong has received the award for three consecutive years.

In 2011, the nominees have to meet the award criteria, such as being a leader of a business, maintaining growth for their companies in three consecutive years, carrying out social responsibilities, and contributing to the community’s development.

According to figures, Vietnam now has more than 100,000 businesses, specialising in garment and textiles, agriculture production, aquaculture, leather shoes, construction and technology, which have been run by women.
