(ĐN)- Stainless steel prices are rising sharply on the domestic market. At present, the prices of stainless steel products in Dong Nai rise by VND 4,000 – VND 11,000 per kilo. Especially, the price of 304 grade stainless steel in February increased by VND 76,000 - VND 87,000 per kilo compared with the previous month. Stainless steel products on the domestic market are mostly imported from China, Taiwan and Japan.
The increase in US dollar has led to higher prices for stainless steel products. Local stainless steel traders forecasted that the prices would continue to climb in the coming time due to growing demand from steel mills.
