(ĐN)- After Tet, consumption of chicken products declined quickly which caused the chicken selling price of households in Dong Nai province sharply dropped. The white live industrial chicken price in the province declined to 20,000 VND per kilogram, down 5,000 VND from the time before Tet. With this price, the farmers suffered a loss of VND 10,000 – VND 11,000 per kilogram. Hence, most of farmers in the province has to stop raising white industrial chickens or shifted to raise Tam Hoang chicken (Chinese chicken).
