In 2010, the natural resources and environment sector in Dong Nai made great efforts to grant land-use rights and house ownership certificates for local residents as well as organize the implementation of the land use planning and plan, implement state management on the natural resources and protect the environment. The province granted around 30,000 land use rights certificates as well as titles to houses and other land-related assets to individuals and organizations last year. In addition, 11 districts of the province have completed land-use planning for all communes and wards until 2020. 19 out of 21 industrial zones in the province have proper waste water treatment systems. At the conference, more than 100 collectives and individuals were awarded certificates of merit from the Provincial People’s Committee and the Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment for their outstanding achievements in 2010.
