Youth Year 2011 launched in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- The Youth Year 2011 was launched in Dong Nai on January 2 with a ceremony introducing the activities to take place.

The launching ceremony was held by the provincial Youth Union and Department of Natural Resources and Environment with the participation of more than 1,000 young people.

Mr. Bui Xuan Thong presents gifts to workers children.

On this occasion, Dong Nai Police’s youths handed over a compassionate house worth VND32 million to a former youth volunteer in Phu Hoi commune; Nhon Trach district’s youth union presented two sets of computers to Phuoc Thien and Vinh Thanh communes; the provincial youth union visited and offered 90 gifts to children of workers in Hiep Phuoc commune.

On Jan 3, Xuan Loc district’s Youth Union in cooperation with the district’s Children House organized a performance and gave 100 gifts totaling VND15 million to poor students in Suoi Cao commune.
